"Grab the Flag"– Race for Historic Motorcycles, 24. – 26. 9. 2018, Grobnik/Rijeka/Kroatien

Whilst on Monday morning the Bora was howling across the track of Grobnik making practice sessions in the morning impossible, on Tuesday and Wednesday Robert Hirschegger and his brawny black and yellow LAVERDA 1200 were howling on the track. Man and machine were in top form. Already during practice and later in qualifying Robert put down times of around 1:47. In the first race he managed 1:46.997 and finished a fantastic 3rd. In the second race he stepped up the pace once again and had his personal best time of 1:46.309. This brought him again onto the podium, another 3rd! Our heatfelt congratulations on this great success!

Peter Corbic had come to Grobnik highly motivated and entered his Harris-LAVERDA 1200. Unfortunately he once again had technical problems, but was able to improve his lap times continuously to 2:03.245. Still he had to miss out on both races. We'll try to find a skilled race mechanic for him for the next season.

Armin Schulz from Germany had entered his LAVERDA 750 SF. In the first race he only managed an 18th place, but during the second race he improved tremendously finishing 12th (Best lap: 1:57.880).
