"Grab the Flag" 6. – 8. 5. 2022 at the Pannoniaring/Hungary

Once again this year the first "Grab the Flag" race was held at the Pannoniaring (Length: 4.7 km; 11 right- and 7 lefthanders). The second race in Autumn will again be held in Rijeka.
This time Robert "Hirschi" Hirschegger on his LAVERDA 1200 and Hansi Mayer on his 750 SF Racer had entered.
For Hirschi it was the first time on the track for the season. He had completely rebuilt the engine of his racer and re-welded the frames in several spots. Unfortunately he had to deal with inexplicable chassis-problems, which meant he was only able to do a few practice laps. Despite plenty of help from his mates he was unable to solve the problems in situ.
During winter Hansi Mayer had fitted wider rims to his faithful 750 SF which now makes for a broader range of options for the tyres. He finished a fantastic 3rd in the first race - congratulations from all of us.
A video with snippets from the race can be found here (the camera was mounted to the back of the 750 SF).
The next "Grab the Flag" race will be held between 19 and 21 September 2022 in Rijeka/Croatia.
